We take data protection and data security very seriously. We process personal data exclusively in accordance with the legal data privacy regulations and with the information given in this data privacy statement.

If you use our website, it is inevitable that personal data such as an IP-address will automatically be collected. When using our services, you may be asked to submit personal data. It is up to you to submit this information or not. This Data Privacy Statement explains, which data we collect and for what purposes and on which legal basis we are going to process them.

Cookies

Our website partly uses so-called cookies. Cookies do neither cause damage on your computer nor do they hold viruses. Cookies are small text files saved on your computer by your browser. Cookies help to make the use of our website more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Most of the cookies used by us are “Session Cookies”. These are automatically deleted at the end of the session. Other cookies are saved on your end device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser upon your next visit.

We save these data for a period of x days in so-called log files. We will not connect these data with other data sources. Basis of data processing is article 6, clause 1, letter f of DSGVO. We have a legitimate interest in a safe operation of our website and in detecting and fending off attacks on our website and the IT systems behind.

Contact form and catalogue order form

If you contact us via contact form or complete the catalogue order form, your data of the forms are saved by us including your contact data entered there for processing your enquiry and possible enquiries. We will not forward these data without your permission.

Processing of the data you entered into the contact form or catalogue order form will therefore exclusively be based on your permission (art. 6, clause 1, letter a of DSGVO). You may revoke your consent at any time. It is sufficient to send us an e-mail message. Legality of the data processing operations effected until revocation will remain unaffected by the revocation.

Email

We will keep the data you entered into the contact form until you request us to delete them, or revoke your permission of processing or until the purpose of data storage is no longer applicable (e.g. after processing of your enquiry was completed). Mandatory legal regulations - particularly retention periods - remain unaffected.
 

4. NEWSLETTER DISPATCH

If you indicate when filling out the contact form that you agree to receive further information from us by e-mail, we will send you an e-mail with a confirmation link to ensure that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive further information by e-mail (e.g. in the form of our newsletter). No further data is collected or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information or newsletterand do not pass it on to third parties. The legal basis for the processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form is your consent (Art. 6 (1) a) DSGVO). This consent
can be revoked at any time, most easily via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

Your data processed by us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us for up to six months after your unsubscription from the newsletter and then deleted. This does not include data that has been stored by us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for contract fulfillment).

We use CleverReach (CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede, Germany) to send newsletters. With CleverReach it is possible for us to organize and analyze the sending of newsletters. The data used for sending newsletters is processed on CleverReach servers.

DATA ANALYSIS BY CLEVERREACH

With the help of CleverReach, we can determine whether a newsletter was opened and whether and which links were clicked. The use of CleverReach also enables us to subdivide newsletter recipients based on various categories. For example, newsletter recipients can be subdivided according to industries or interests in product areas. In this way, the newsletters can be better adapted to the respective target groups.

The data processing in connection with the newsletter dispatch is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) a DSGVO) in relation to the data analysis based on the exercise of our legitimate interests mentioned above (Art. 6 (1) f DSGVO). You
can revoke your consent at any time and object to the data analysis described, e.g. by unsubscribing from the newsletter. You will find a corresponding link at the end of each newsletter. It is also sufficient to send us an informal message by e-mail.

The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

5. MARKETING AUTOMATION

We use marketing automation software to unify, automate, and measure our marketing tasks and workflows to help our company increase operational efficiency and accelerate revenue growth. For this purpose, a cookie is set that can be used to aggregate your click behavior across multiple website visits. By using a contact form or clicking on a link to our website from an email with corresponding tracking links, the click behavior is attributable to your person.

The click behavior may be used to personalize the displayed content and e-mail communication. We use an external service provider based in the USA for this purpose. We have contractual arrangements with this service provider to ensure that the level of data
appropriate level of data protection there. The legal basis for the marketing automation is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. You can object to this use by clicking on the opt-out link.

6. Social Media

Facebook plug-ins (Like & Share Buttons)

Our website holds links to our Facebook page. Facebook is made available by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA. Facebook links are made recognisable by the Facebook logo. If you click on such a Facebook logo, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Facebook server. Thus Facebook will receive the information that you visited our website with your IP address. If you click on the Facebook logo while logged onto your Facebook account, Facebook is able to assign the visit of our pages to your user account. We wish to point out that we, by offering our website, do not receive knowledge of the contents of the transmitted data or their usage through Facebook. 7. Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "Cookies", text files which are saved on your computer and which allow an analysis of your usage of the website. Information created by the cookie about your usage of this website will normally be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and saved there. We have activated the IP anonymisation on this website. Therefore, your IP address will be cut by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other States party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission to the USA.

Only in exceptions will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and cut there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use these pieces of information for evaluation of your website usage so as to compile reports about the website activities and to establish further services connected with the website usage and the internet usage towards the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be brought together with other data of Google.

8. Leadfeeder / dealfront

We are using the Leadfeeder service of the Dealfront Group GmbH, Durlacher Allee 73, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany. Leadfeeder is an analysing service of the Finish Leadfeeder company, Keskuskatu 6 E, 00100 Helsinki, Finland. We have concluded a data processing contract with the service provider according to Art. 28 DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation). 

By using the Leadfeeder services, we can identify, which companies are visiting our website. For this purpose, your IP address is processed to qualify whether it is a company-related IP address. We will only receive information on company visitors, visitors with private IP addresses will be automatically filtered out and not processed. The used tracking cookie serves to distinguish between different visitors.

The legal basis for personal data processing is your prior consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and §25 para. 1 TTDSG (Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act). You can revoke your consent with effect for future data processing at any time.

We carry out online surveys via the SurveyMonkey web service. You have the right to file an objection against the processing of personal data concerning you for the purposes of direct mail. This is also true for profiling as long as it is connected with such direct mails. If you object to our processing your data for the purposes of direct mail, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes.
